Parallel session: Poster pitches: 7I. Extreme - Flood Drought

The aim of river training engineering in Qin River downstream is to control flood and reduce disaster, including rebuilding, continued construction, heightening and strengthening based on the existing engineering. The main contents consist of earthwork and rock excavation. The characteristic of the project is that it is dispersed in many spots, quite long lines and wide areas. By using remote sensing, the landscape ecology method is proposed to evaluate regional landscape pattern, ecological stability and change trend after the river training engineering, where the index of patch, landscape density, landscape frequency and landscape advantage are considered. It is provided to analyze the feasibility of the river training engineering and gather the experience of environmental evaluation based on landscape ecology in the river training.
