Every day more dams starts to use of labyrinth weirs to replace structures for various reasons because the original structure is insufficient. This increase the volume of discharge in a situation of high event, and this has the advantage, increasing the body's normal level of water to replace losses of dam volume while maintaining the same level of high water. These losses is because sedimentation. The hydrodinamic device influences the increase of the discharge, is well known that the more water is placed above this structure, far from the effects of the channel walls, increase the coefficient. The numerical specification (discharge coefficient) of their operation is important to implement in any design or rehabilitation. Using Labyrinth weirs is an increasingly common practice in spillways reservoir, when you need to increase the level of normal water, keeping the same free edge of prey or when you do not have an adequate volume for flood control. Therefore, it increases effective length of spillway discharge for the same channel width. There is extensive literature that provides the design of a labyrinth weir; like as Tullis, and Amanian Waldron (1995). However, many aspects of the functioning of these structures have not been investigated; inclusive in simple cases is still advisable to carry out the study of the hydraulic operation reduced physical models. For this reason we resorted to the study of this device as an equivalent to physical geometric scale of a labyrinth weir spillway. The values __obtained from measurements of hydraulic head and flow transited, processed to obtain the coefficients of discharge. This coefficient is a dimensionless value related, characteristics of the landfill and the flow rate. Stands primarily when low hydraulic load values __were used in all the configurations, is almost similar behavior is observed in magnitude and inthe curves describing the relationship with the discharge coefficient.
