Peter Struik

Peter Struik (1957) is since 2012 head of the Department for Watermanagement, Traffic and the Environment and responsible for Knowledge and Quality of the Infrastructure in the Board of Rijkswaterstaat.
Peter graduated in 1982 from Delft University on the topics of hydraulic engineering and probabilistic design. Since then he works at Rijkswaterstaat in the various fields of watermanagement- and highway-projects, asset management and maintenance, strategy and scenario-studies, procurement and project-management. From 2005 until 2012 he was general director of the North Netherlands-Regional Division of Rijkswaterstaat.
