Harm Albert Zanting graduated in 1987 from civil engineering, water management at Delft University. Actually he leads the Water & Environment Division of ARCADIS in The Netherlands. With 700 people this Division covers a wide range of technical, consultancy and policy development subjects. Harm Albert started his career at the province of Groningen, then moved to Maputo, Mozambique, and worked at the Hydrology Department of the Direcção Nacional de Águas. After returning to The Netherlands he developed a career in Policy Analysis in the broad field of Water. He has been working on the Long Term Vision for the Scheldt Estuary and many Room for Rivers and Coastal Defence projects.
