Holds a PhD (TU-Delft, 2014) in policy sciences and an MSc. in Environmental Sciences (Wageningen University, 2006).
Qiqi Zhou (1974) holds a PhD (TU-Delft, 2014) in policy sciences and an MSc. in Environmental Sciences (Wageningen University, 2006). From 2008 until 2014, she was a PhD researcher and an assistant professor at the faculty of Technology, Policy and Management (TPM) at Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands. Her main topics of interest are integrated planning of complex social-technical systems, in particular water, river and ocean management. In her research and teaching she frequently works with gaming-simulation and serious games. Before coming to the Netherlands, she worked in China as a professional graphic designer, news presenter, journalist and TV program editor. She speaks fluent Mandarin, Cantonese, good English and Dutch. She has a keen interest in cross cultural learning and has worked as a liaison officer and coordinator in several collaboration projects, exchange visits and business events between the Netherlands and China.
