Rainfall is the major dynamic factor of flood forecast, and it is important to ensure forecasting accuracy. The Three Gorges Project has a telemetry rainfall system covering the upper reaches of the Yangtze River Basin. The system provides real-time rainfall data. With the development of the national economy, The Government of China also gradually constructs high density rainfall stations. And in April, 2008, it is released to the public. There are multi-source data of rainfall in the area. Because of the distribution density, different statistical methods, there is a systematic difference between the data. Through statistical methods of correlation coefficient, to find the difference in data, providing a reference to the application of multi-source data of rainfall for futures. The value of efficiency coefficient at the daily scale reached 0.81, and the correlation is high. The method can serve as a basis for the future study of multi-source data fusion of rainfall.
